Ben's Pics

Ben loves to take pictures of scenery, with his Nikon D80.

One of his favorite locations (top pic) is from the roof of our house. It's kind of like, "Mom, can I go play on the roof?" And, no, we don't have a flat roof.

The next two were taken while I was driving down the highway at 55mph, and Ben was practically hanging out the window with his camera. Wow!

I'm excited to see where his photography takes him. He certainly has an eye for really cool pics.

  2. Hey Laurel,

This isn't about this particular post, but I wanted to just let you know that we went to CRC today. Your family were mentioned by Tim & Julie, and Kimberlee Shirkey . . . and Julie mentioned that she felt God may have "sent" you to touch Eunice's life, even in that small way on a day she really needed it.

The service was so beautiful and heart-touching. They video-taped the whole thing (we were in the rotunda, which was jam-packed, but the main lodge and the Good Shepherd lodge were jam-packed too.) The whole sevice was so glorifying to the Lord, and so inspirational.

So many people at CRC sure love you all. They're looking forward to seeing you at Thanksgiving.

And I was thinking about you today. Love you!!!

  3. I was going to comment about the cool image of the windmill in the first picture and say you must live in Dutch country. Then I read the next post and your boys have 'Lynden' clothes on. That explains it! :-)

From my Dutch community (Hudsonville, MI) to yours, Blessings!
