And, since I am having a very difficult time deciding which one to send, I thought I would get your professional blogging opinion.
Please let me know which card you would prefer to have hanging on your refrigerator all year.
Card #1

Card #2

Card #3 (a revision after receiving comments and some email suggestions)
I like the second one... would it be possible to send it with my friend Annababe to me? :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the first one, I think it's more visually cohesive. But that's just me. They are both great!
ReplyDeleteAwesome work Mama D!
I vote for number 2 -- great job!
ReplyDeleteCan I be difficult? I like the first one with the second one's background.
ReplyDeleteThey are BOTH beautiful!!! You have a gorgeous family.
I vote for the first one! Beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the 3rd one!! Nice design! Pictures flow great! Beautifully done!!
ReplyDeleteI like them all- but the first one is my favorite! :0) Amy
ReplyDeleteLaurel,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a win, win, win situation to me...but I like the third one best. There is something beautiful and powerful about seeing all of your children (or almost all) in one picture. Personally, I like the way you commented on where your two children currently are who are not in the group photo.
You've got beautiful kids!
Lisa
I like 3 best, but with the locations of the two that aren't there. I like how that honors their service to God in those places.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for the first one. Though after reading all these comments I don't think your choice will be an easier than before you asked your blogging friends ;)
ReplyDeleteYou gals are great! Looks like about a 50/50 split. Thanks for NOT making my job any easier.
ReplyDeleteI understand and agree with the comments about including the places that Lindsey and Jeremiah are serving the Lord. However, even though Carissa happens to be in the family pic, she was just home for Thanksgiving from serving the Lord in Argentina. And, while Cassie lives here in the U.S., she is definitely serving the Lord in Oregon. So, it makes it hard to single out Lindsey and Jeremiah, when the other two are also serving the Lord in other locations.
Keep those comments coming ... the final decision has not yet been made.
Thanks again,
Laurel
I like 2 and 3, but I guess 3 a little better than 2!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful family, and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
God bless ya'll!

I like what Renee said about the 1st one but with the darker background.
ReplyDeleteAnd I assume you'll be doing a letter to go with it, so that will tell where each of the kids is serving (and why you don't have one big group picture yet... next year though, they are all going to be in one picture!!!!!)
I like the second one; it was a toss up for me with the third one,but I like that you have the picture of your son and his fiance telling when the wedding will be for those that will be invited and like to plan! Way to go on getting one done! ;) I haven't done it yet and it is something I like to do in Nov. and it is driving me CRAZY!!
ReplyDeleteHi Laurel!
ReplyDeleteI like #3 the best, but how fun that we get to see all three of these final choices.
By the way, tonight I heard from a couple (Rick & Cyndi) who met your family at CRC during Thanksgiving weekend. Cyndi really enjoyed your sharing and your family was a great encouragement to theirs (especially to their foster kids).
Blessings to you all!
Ann
Well - it looks like everyone has a different opinion, huh? LOL! I like the first one because you can see everyone's faces so well. We've decided to wait until our kids are home to send out our cards this year - hoping they are here in January. I'd love to get together with you sometime and meet in person - and talk hair! Merry Christmas, Laurel!
