Child, "Mom, _____ said 2 bad words."
Mom, "Which bad words did they say?"
Child (very seriously) "The E word and the K word."
Mom (trying not to laugh), "What exactly did _____ say?"
Child (hesitantly, not wanting to say the bad words), "Ediot and Krap"
No, those are not words that are allowed in our house. There will be consequences for the saying of bad words. And ... we will continue to work on our spelling. But ... it was precious that this young one didn't even want to repeat the dreaded "E Word" and "K word".

ReplyDeleteI love your kids' "innocence" and that even at the ages of 8, 10, and 11, those words are still some of the worst they know.

What a riot! That sounds like something my children would say, however, they have yet to hear the E and the K word. Stupid is a huge naughty word in our home, and that is the worst it gets. Thank you Jesus for their innocence.

that is so funny! my ry told me the other day that there was a bad word written on one of the boards at the local playground. when i nervously asked what it was, he said "stupid" :)
