We left the hotel at 8:30 a.m. ...
and arrived home at 12:15 am ...
16 hours later ...
after driving another 700 miles.
We only stopped 3 times ...
... lunch (and gas) at 1:30
... potty-stop at 4:00
... dinner (and gas) at 7:30
We drove through ...
... fog
... mountain passes
... rush hour traffic in Portland, OR
... pounding rain for several hours
... traffic from a bad car accident
But ... we made it home safely. Praising Jesus!
We listened to more Screwtape Letters Radio Theatre.
We listened to a Christian Comedian's book-on-tape.
We listened to a wide variety of music.
We played Yahtzee.
And ... we just plain enjoyed Getting to Know Ashleigh.
Off to bed ...
Oh how I LOVE sleeping in my own comfy bed.
But ... wishing my sweet husband were here, too.
He was only able to be home 24 hours this week,
which took place while I was gone. So Sad.
