After 5 days of sub-10 degree weather,
(very unusual for the Pacific NW)
the temperature is rising,
and the rain drops have started falling.
So sad.
But ... knowing that warm weather was on the way,
and knowing that the snow was soon to be gone,
we headed out to the sledding hill right after breakfast.
Oh yea!
We were the only ones at the school today,
compared to the 100 or so sledders on Tuesday.
Josiah, Papa, Sarah, & Ben ... ready for some FUN.
Elijah ... getting pretty good on his snowboard.
Sarah ... laughing all the way.
Sarah, Ben, & Elijah ... make a train.
Josiah ... enjoying his "board", as well.
Sarah, Elijah, & Ben ... oh how they love their "trains".
"Go, Papa, Go!" ... having just as much fun as the kids.
Mama enjoyed taking pics from the bottom of the hill today.
On Tuesday, she stayed at the top of the hill,
so as not to get run over by the other 100 sledders.
Then ... Mama's camera battery died.
Oh no!
What to do?
Oh yes!
Mama iPhone.
Out came the video camera,
for a whole new kind of fun.
So sad to say, "Good-bye" to the snow.
It's been a good week of stay-at-home quiet.
No school.
(homeschool enrichment classes)
No jobs.
(I know ... we haven't had those for a few months)
No play practice.
No piano lessons.
No afternoon workout sessions.
Lots of ...
... movies & games
... mochas & lattes
... hot chocolate & whipped cream
... smiles & laughter
... naps & more naps
