Please pray . . .
We just spent a few hours in the local emergency room.
Our daughter-in-law, Hannah, was out running
(on a country road) and got hit by a mini van.
She was knocked out, and doesn't remember getting hit.
A Border Patrol agent "happened" to drive up right after she was hit
(and he called my son Josh, who got to the scene quickly).
A friend of our family "happened" to be the
EMT who rode in the ambulance with her.
So scary.
There are no broken bones.
Her CAT scan looked okay.
She has a concussion.
She had to get some stitches for a gash on the back of her head.
She has a lot of "road rash" (raw, scraped skin).
I'm sure she will be pretty bruised and sore for awhile,
but we are THANKFUL that the LORD protected her today.
Please pray for healing for Hannah,
and THANK the LORD for HIS protection.
oh my! scary. Glad she wasn't hurt worse.
ReplyDeleteI saw my sister get run over by a car when she was three.... it was pretty bad. She lived to tell about it.
Oh scary. It's amazing how fast and careless some people drive on back country roads. I hope she is okay and feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteI too am glad she wasn't hurt worse than she was...scary!!!...God is good.Praise Him for His protection! Your family doesn't need more rough waters to navigate......Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWe had saw on Facebook and we have been praying. Glad to hear it wasn't more serious
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for her and your family--and for the person who hit her. I hope that Hannah recovers quickly and without incident.

ReplyDeleteMy nephew and I prayed for Hosanna to be healed in mind and body. Hope she is doing alright. Sorry to hear about it.
ReplyDeletePraising God for His protection over Hannah! Praying for comfort in her physical body as she heals from her injuries. Thankful that it wasn't any worse than it was. And that those who "happened" along were there - 'cause God knew they were gonna be, anyway!!! Blessings my friend.
ReplyDeletesending LOTS of prayers!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear what happen to Hannah! My husband is an big runner doing 40+ miles a week and I worry about him getting hit. He wears a ROAD ID on his shoe so that if something were to happen and he was unconsious the ROAD ID would have information on it to contact family. I do not work for the ROAD ID company but I do believe in the product and how it can help to inform family and save lives when something happens to a running, cyclists, hikers, etc.. http://www.roadid.com/Catalog.aspx?C=RoadID
ReplyDeletePraying as well!
