Ben's surgery went well yesterday . . . but, sadly, it did not fix the problem. The surgeon discovered a birth defect that did not show up on the original M.R.I. He was able to do some repairs, but will need to schedule a 2nd surgery in about 3 months (after this one heals). Sad that a 2nd surgery is necessary, but very glad that the surgeon does believe that the deafness is correctable. Please pray for a speedy recovery, with no complications, for Ben. Thanks for lifting him up to the Lord.
