Warning: Picture Overload
It was fun uploading "my" pictures from Saturday's Reception,
because "I" did not take any pictures.
Nope.
Mama didn't even pick up the camera;
I just enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
So . . . let's see what kinds of pictures my kids came up with. (smile)
The reception was held at the home of Kayla's Grandparents,
who live on the water near Gig Harbor (150 miles from us).
Saturday was the hottest day of the year (at 88 degrees).
The Sunshine was beautiful.
The Water was beautiful.
Mt. Rainier (in the background) was beautiful.
Noah keeps getting CUTER every day.
While Grandma would have LOVED to spend the day holding Noah,
there was some fierce competition for the task.
Noah was BLESSED to have at the party:
1 Grandpa
2 Grandmas
2 Great-Grandpas
2 Great-Grandmas
3 Great-Great-Grandmas
Uncountable number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins,
Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles, 2nd Cousins, 3rd Cousins, etc . . .
While this grandma does live nearly 3 hours away,
the other grandma lives 7 1/2 hours away,
so she doesn't get many weekends
with her precious grandson.
I gladly let Kayla's Mama take care of this little cutie most of the day.
(actually being held in this picture by one of the great-grandpas)

Josiah (who has never shown any interest before in taking pictures)
asked if he could take pictures of the Present Opening.
I think Gregg is wondering what exactly this pretty Crystal Vase if for.
Kayla is very excited about this new Cook Book . . .
. . . and her new Crock Pot.
Kayla showed everyone the new Wedding Album.
Hosanna and Alex then got ahold of Mama's Camera.
What a beautiful daughter I have! Always smiling!

Right before we headed home, Mama asked Ben to take some pics . . .
but I should have figured out that after 7 hours in the HOT sun . . .
everyone was a bit tired and goofy . . .
I have no idea who was in charge of the camera, now . . .
but this picture was taken upside down.
Ben & Alex
(Ben's Girlfriend is Hannah's Sister)
Do any of your kids take this type of picture?
Drives Mama CRAZY!
Seriously?!?!
Who does this?
This is my "mature" eldest son,
the wonderful husband and father that he is.

Gregg & Kayla
(Noah missed the Family Pictures, as he was hiding out with "Other Grandma".)
And to think . . .
this is only 1/2 of our Family.
(Grandbaby #2, due in January, will give us an "Even 20" in our immediate family.)
There was a "Real" Photographer taking pictures all day,
and he DID take some Family Pictures at the beginning of the day,
before we were all hot and goofy.
So, I will hopefully get a few of those pics in the near future.
Overall, we spent a GREAT day with Friends & Family,
CELEBRATING Gregg & Kayla & Noah.
If you are new to this blog . . .
Gregg & Kayla got married in February,
with a very small group of family and friends,
with a very small group of family and friends,
shortly before Noah was born in March.
Love the crazy, funny picture overload! Miss your crazy family!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Gregg holding the jar of jam cracked me up. He looks so confused, like he's never seen homemade jam before. You wouldn't know he grew up on it! Then again, maybe he's confused by the small size... I suppose D kids are used to quart size jars of jam :)
Must be the small size. Why would anyone make jam in such a small jar?
Delete:) :) :)
Looking fabulous!! :)
