It's the Little Things That Count

Success  =  Making a Carmel Peach Pie for Papa

and not taking one, teeny, tiny, little bite.

nope.  no fresh peaches.  no crust.  no carmel.  not one bite.

Did I tell you that we brought #45 of Fresh Peaches home
from our camping trip last week?

I LOVE peaches, but have only had 1/2 cup in a Protein Shake.

While everyone else eats pie and ice cream tonight,
I might just treat myself to Peaches on Greek Yogurt.

    1. I didn't get through to them on the phone, so we just stopped at a roadside stand. We came home across Hwy. 20, so we found this little stand (that only sold peaches) probably about 10 miles north of the campsite. We only paid $10/box and the peaches were firm and beautiful. Oh.So.Good.

      Enjoying our tomatoes, too. :)

So fun to meet you and the kids. Thanks for coming out to the park.

  2. That is a beautiful pie, Laurel.

Have you ever tried baking a peach like you do with an apple? you can put some splenda/stevia in the pit hole and broil (with skin!) for a few minutes until bubbly. Wonderful with some cottage cheese or greek yogurt!
