Welcome to Our Journey of Faith. My blog is a place where I share the joys and trials of living a faith-filled life as the mother of an extra large (12 children) homeschooling family, and my prayer is that it brings encouragement to others to live their lives as an adventure of faith, as well.
You know we had that yesterday. I had major shoulder surgery a few weeks ago and am unable to do my own family pictures this summer/fall. My best friend came from Indiana this weekend to help my family (aka: give my hubby a break).
So we went out on a mission to take the pics of our family..and...my 13 and 10 yr old AND husband would not cooperate. We got ONE PICTURE as a family that is 'half way' acceptable. Before I lost my cool and left. I am highly medicated and in a ton of pain and have absolutely no patience for their unwillingness to cooperate and they are old enough. Needless to say...I'm trying to not be do upset. BUt I soooo know what you mean.
Oh man, yes. It can be miserable if there's not some congeniality and cooperation going on! Thankfully our last family photo shoot was a smashing success!!
Thanks so much for stopping in to leave a comment. I hope you will read other comments, as well, and reply if you'd like. I am BLESSED by the discussion we can have through this comment section.

HA! Wow... even baby Hosanna wasn't happy.
ReplyDeleteI think the arguing and complaining is as much of a ritual as the pictures themselves! Love your pic.
