I finally broke through the
Weight Loss Plateau,
and quit bouncing up and down
the scale the same 2 pounds.
Sarah had also hit a plateau
(after a #40 loss),
so we decided to do the
Xyngular 8 Day Detox
again this week.
(we do it about once per month)
(we do it about once per month)
HERE is a 6 minute product overview
of the Xyngular Products.
I use the . . .
Super Fruit Global Blend
(for antioxidants and vitamins)
Accelerate
(for metabolism)
Flush
(for detox)
Lean
(Protein Shake)

where you can find out more about the products,
becoming a distributor, and/or to make a purchase.
I have lost #5.2 in the past 4 days.
Woo Hoo!
I have not been starving myself, either.
(for those of you that are worried about my health)
On Wednesday, I "treated" myself for lunch to my favorite
Taco Time Chicken Taco Salad (including chips).
Then . . . Jim called from work and
asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner.
We went to a nice restaurant and I ordered a
Steak Salad (including 2 pc. Garlic Toast)
Yummm ...
I set aside 1/2 of the steak and brought
it home for the next morning's omelet.
And . . . even with 2 restaurant meals this week,
I still lost #5.2 in the past 4 days.
I began this New Takin' Care of Mama Journey on June 29th.
Today marks Week #9,
so I thought we'd look at some totals.
In the past 2 Months . . .
I have lost 24.8 pounds.
I have lost 21.5 inches
(from a total of 10 measurements that I take weekly)
3.5" off my chest
4.5" off my waist
4.0" off my hips
In 7 weeks my blood pressure dropped.
from 138 / 79
to 113 / 72
Yep.
One excited Mama here today!
Moving forward,
and excited about losing the next 25 pounds.
Sarah and I are hoping to lose another 40 pounds by New Years,
which will give her an 85 pound loss and me a 65 pound loss.
(She started this weight loss program a month or two before I did.)
HERE is a post I wrote about a month ago with more Diet Details.

Several of you have joined me on this
Taking Care of Mama Journey.
I'd love to hear how you all are doing.
That is awesome! Good for you! I am frustrated over my "diet" right now. I have been walking every single day for a month and eating very healthy, and I have only lost about 4 pounds. I will keep plugging away though. I hope to lose about 50 pounds total.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to comment so you could get my new blog address...your comments on my old blog were always such an encouragment, but I dont have that blog anymore.
Again...great job! :)
Congratulations! Now you just need to post some pics of YOU!
ReplyDeleteLaurel -- Congrats to you and good job on taking care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteI have read a few other bloggers using Xyng and it seems expensive....
Sorry! I sent "publish" before the rest of my post! I said that "it seems expensive" and was going to add "Is it really too expensive? One month of supplements/aids would cost about....?"
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that some people do spend a LOT on supplements. However, as I said in the post, I only use a few of the products . . . and I use them sparingly. :)
DeleteLean is the product that I use the most of. It is a protein shake mix. I am going to compare prices with other shake mixes I can buy locally.
I use 1 TB of the Global Fruit Blend once a day in a Protein Shake. A bottle of Global Fruit Blend will last me over 6 weeks.
I use 1 Accelerate tablet per day, and just finished my 1st bottle after 2 months.
I use 1 Flush capsule a few days per week, and am still on my 1st bottle after 2 months.
The only product that I purchase monthly, is the Lean (protein shake) mix.
So, while it would be very expensive to purchase all of the Xyngular products every month . . . I am not spending a lot. And, though the protein shakes do cost a bit, think of all of the food that I am NOT eating. Seriously.
Also . . . while I did spend about $200 to purchase the original pack of products, I find it very helpful as far as motivation goes. When a program costs something . . . we are more likely to actually use it. :) So, purchasing the pack of products gave me the motivation to fully jump into the program, so as not to have wasted money.
But, the real question is: How much is health and wellness worth??? If this product can help me to lose 100+ pounds (and be much healthier for the long run), than it is fully worth the cost of $50-$75 per month.
Thanks, Laurel, for the info. Do you think you would make a post about a package cost?
