God is Good . . .

. . . All the Time.

Yesterday . . .

all bank accounts hit the . . .

Big. Fat. Zero.

due to the fact that we had a Paycheck . . .

"Lost. In. The. Mail."

Contractor #1 said that he mailed the check last week.
(it arrived today . . . post marked yesterday, not last week)

We didn't know quite what to do with all accounts on zero.

Except pray.

Then . . .

Contractor #2 gave a paycheck today.
(which we didn't expect until tomorrow)

Independent Job hand-delivered a paycheck today.
(which he had said would be mailed to us)

Bank accounts were restored before anything bounced.

Whew!

This was the last Independent Painting Job that Jim had lined up.

The weather is usually really nice here in September,
and we were hoping for a few more jobs.

When Mr. Independent Job hand-delivered the paycheck,
I thanked him and said,

"God always provides the jobs right when we need them."

As if to prove my trust in Him . . .

and Him alone . . .

the Lord lined up a few phone calls within 1 hour

of telling the man that "God always provides . . ."

As I said . . .

Jim had NO more Independent Painting Jobs lined up,

and his work with the Contractor may only last another few weeks.

But . . .

this afternoon . . .

Jim got 2 phone calls asking for Painting Bids,

and 1 phone call from a client he had given a bid to a few weeks ago,

saying, "I really want you to do our job."

We are REJOICING for the work that the LORD provides.

We are TRUSTING that the LORD will continue to provide
for our needs after "Painting Season" is over.

Update:  It sounds like there is not a teaching job available at Jim's previous school.  So sad.

  2. That's awesome that the Lord has been faithful in providing for your needs! :) :)

I'm so sorry to hear about the job at school not being available, He must have a plan, as always. The hardest part is not knowing what it is.
