Yes.
I survived 4 hours in the kitchen . . .
making Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Rolls . . .
without taking one. single. bite.
Woo Hoo!
I wasn't sure I could to it.
After making the dough, I divide it into 2 parts,
and roll each part into a 30" x 10" rectangle.
I then spread 1 cup of Melted Butter over the dough . . .
sprinkle on 1/8 cup Ground Cinnamon . . .
and top with 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans and Walnuts.
After rolling the whole thing up . . .
and cutting the "log" into 1 1/2" pieces . . .
they are all arranged in their baking dishes to rise again.
They look pretty good when I pull them out of the oven . . .
but I'm not done yet.
Nope.
Not done.
Oh. My. No.
After baking, I spread on the Maple Frosting.
Oh. My. Yes.
4 hours later . . .
I have 44 Cinnamon Rolls . . .
each measuring about 2 1/2" x 3 1/2 ".
And . . .
I did it without taking a single bite.
Whew!
Off to bed, now, so I can make it to Bible Study in the morning.
We're having a Brunch tomorrow, to kick off our new Fall Bible Study.
I sure hope that someone brings something healthy that I can eat,
because I really don't want to put one of these on my plate.
Not much fun making them if you can't eat them : (
ReplyDeleteBut I would need mine warm anyway. It would be easier to turn down the next day (unless they had a microwave).
Oh my YUMMY!!!! I'm going to follow that recipe for sure, but I need to go to her website. Congratulations on your restraint - YOU ROCK!!!!
