Just Think Of The Next Thing

Life has been CRAZY BUSY . . .
but we are all having FUN.

My blog has been pretty quiet . . .
but only because Life has NOT been quiet.

After my 48 Hour Scrapbooking Retreat a week ago . . .
and Hosanna's 16th Birthday Party . . .
life did not slow down this week.

In addition to the Every Day Busyness of Life . . .

Bible Studies  *  Play Practice  *  Awanas

Youth Group  *  Date Night

(not to mention grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning)

I had a Friend over for Coffee on Wednesday.
(and her son came to play with the boys)

I had a Coffee Date with a Friend on Friday.

I Scrapbooked with the Church Ladies
Friday Night and All-Day Saturday.

(I provided the Homemade Muffins for Breakfast . . .
Cookies for Lunch . . . Brownies for Dinner . . .
all of which I baked on Friday afternoon
and Saturday early morning)

Jim took the boys to the Monster Truck Show Saturday Night.
(something they have never done before . . . but FUN they had)

We had Friends over for a BBQ Lunch after church today.
(since we are still enjoying Summer Weather)

Then . . . it was time to think about Packing for the Beach.

Not the "Sunshine & Beaches Trip" with Jim.
No.
Just a quick little 3 day trip to the beach with the Young Ones . . .
before Papa & Mama head out on vacation.

We are joining a Bloggy Friend and her kids
at their family beach house tomorrow through Wednesday.

So, the past couple of weeks, I have had to focus on
"Just Think About The Next Thing".

On Thursday . . . I organized and ordered photos for Friday's Scrapbooking.

On Friday . . . I baked the goodies for Saturday's Scrapbooking.

On Saturday . . . I planned the meal for Sunday's BBQ.

On Sunday . . . it was time to think about packing for Monday's Trip to the Beach.

We will get home from this Beach Trip on Wednesday Night . . .
and then I will begin to think about packing for our BIG
"Sunshine & Beaches Vacation".

Yes.

We are busy, busy, busy . . .

but we are having fun, fun, fun.

Did YOU do anything FUN this weekend???

  1. We went to a very special piano recital after church. The students all played hymns, and there was no applause or bowing, just glory to God. I could spend every Sunday afternoon that way!
