Day #3 Continued . . .
After our morning at the beach . . .
and our afternoon by the pool . . .
Jim and I got all dressed up and took a little walk
to a restaurant we'd seen earlier in the day.
Uno Chicago Grill is an American chain restaurant . . .
but it definitely had a Puerto Rican flare . . .
and Puerto Rican specialties on the menu.
I had:
Chimichurra Steak
(not found on the U.S. menu)
Skinless Baked Potato
Tostonos
Fried Plantain
(also not found on the U.S. menu)
For Dessert we shared a
Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie
(baked in a pizza pan)
The food . . . delicious.
The quiet dinner out with my loving husband . . . wonderful.
The late evening walk through the city . . . fun.
Our 30th Anniversary Dinner . . . perfect.
(Just wish we'd asked someone to take our picture,
as we were decked out in matching purple and turquoise.)
mouth watering :) love that you are having fun :)
