Mixed Memories

Thanksgiving 2010  *  A Holiday FILLED with FAMILY & FUN & LAUGHTER.

We spent 6 days at a Family Camp in Oregon with 14 of Our Kids.

Jeremiah & Ashleigh were just weeks away from their wedding.

Josh & Hannah were engaged, and planning a summer wedding.

Cassie & Dean were planning to get engaged very soon.

Our week was LOUD.

Our week was filled with JOY.

Our family was EXCITED for all that was to come.

Then . . . just a few short weeks later . . . our lives CRASHED to a grinding halt . . .

and we have spent the past 2 years trying desperately to pick up the pieces . . .

to put our beautiful family back together again.

Thanksgiving 2012  *  A "quiet" holiday spent with only 5 of Our Kids.

For many of you . . . a holiday spent with 5 kids does NOT sound "quiet".

And . . . we DO have FUN with these 5.

But . . . 

the FUN is definitely accompanied by a sad silence . . .

caused by the brokenness that now defines our family.

Please pray that the LORD would BLESS our time . . .

with the 5 Kids that we do have with us this Holiday Season.
