Some people call them . . .
Gingerbread Houses.
But, since we make ours out of Graham Crackers,
we just call them . . .
Christmas Houses.
First Step:
Buy LOTS of Candy & Graham Crackers.
Ben works as a Furniture & Appliance Delivery Guy,
so he decided to make a Replica of his Delivery Truck.
Hosanna and the others decided to stick with the
Traditional Christmas Houses.
Love the Mini M & Ms for the Roof . . .
and the Cute Little Snowman.
Alex S. Joined Us.
Love the Heart-Shaped Front Door.
Sarah B. Joined Us, Too . . .
and brought a Lot of Design Creativity.
What a Beautiful Christmas House!
(notice the curtains on the upstairs window)
Sarah enjoyed making her Christmas House.
(She chose to use some Chocolate Graham Crackers.)
Another Fun Candy Cane Heart,
and a Cute Little Snowman.
Josiah gets pretty serious when he
works on any type of Art Project.
He thought it would be fun to use some
Cute Christmas Straws as Chimneys.
Elijah is so focused . . .
. . . for awhile.
He doesn't always have the focused energy
to complete a several hour art project, though.
(and he probably ate more candy than made it onto his house)
We now have a Beautiful Christmas Centerpiece
down the middle of our extra-long table.
This is only the 2nd time that most of the kids
have ever made Christmas Houses.
They all enjoyed this Fun Saturday Project.
Love them!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're great! My older kids did this during Jr. Youth and Junior Girls Activities the other week.
