Jim's New "Lunch Box"
When I saw a picture of one of these on FB, I just KNEW that I had to find one.
I had to search a bit online, as the first 3 places I found them were "Out of Stock",
which confirmed to me that this was THE 2012 Christmas Present to Buy.
Jim has ALWAYS liked to take leftovers for his daily lunch.
When he was a teacher for 20+ years, he just heated them up in the staff room.
As a Residential & Commercial Painter, he no longer has a "Staff Room".
So, this winter he has been taking soup, chili, enchiladas, etc . . . COLD.
Yuck!
He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES his new "Lunch Box".
Oh. Yes. He. Does.
He just fills up the little 4 cup tin pot the night before . . .
pops it into the "Crock Pot" before work . . .
plugs it in when he gets to work . . .
and he has a HOT lunch by noon.
He eats Hot Soup.
He eats Hot Cornbread & Chili.
He eats Hot Enchiladas.
Seriously.
He is probably more excited about this little lunch box,
than he has ever been about a Christmas Present.
No Joke.

Buy Him His Own Personal Crock Pot.
(You can pick them up pretty inexpensively at your local Target Store,
but might find a better color selection online. I didn't think
Jim would want the Hot Pink one that I found at the mall.)
So funny!I JUST put this on my amazon wish list last week!! :) I was wishing though that it had a lighter plug-in because my hubs is always out on the job site - and rarely with a plug available. I'm soooo glad to see your review. Maybe I'll just get one of those adapters (plug to lighter thingie) and get one soon!! :)
ReplyDeleteOne of our sons is an Appliance Delivery & Installer. He, too, is always "in the truck", so we suggested he pick up an adapter. I don't think the adapters cost much. We have used them for years on our Road Trips (for computers, etc...)
